Flute

Danielle Boudrot (Flute)

Danielle Boudrot is currently principal flute with The Lexington Symphony and the Lexington Symphony Chamber Players. She has been a featured soloist with the LS on several occasions, most recently performing the Mozart Flute and Harp Concerto with LS principal harpist Barbara Poeschl-Edrich in June 2011. Danielle has also performed with The Boston Classical Orchestra, The Cape Ann Symphony, The Cape Cod Chamber Orchestra, The Longwood Symphony Orchestra, The Newburyport Choral Society, The New Philharmonia Orchestra of Massachusetts, The Newton Symphony Orchestra, Symphony By the Sea, and Symphony Pro Musica. She received her Bachelor of Music degree from the Oberlin Conservatory of Music as a student of Robert Willoughby. For 25 years she was an active teacher in the Boston area, her students performing in many of the top youth orchestras in the state. She has taught master-classes at the Boston Flute Academy, Brookline Music School, coached sectionals for the Boston Youth Symphony Orchestras and guest conducted the National Flute Association's High School Flute Choir. In addition to performing and teaching, Danielle was the founder and music director of The Massachusetts Flute Choir for ten seasons. In that time, the MFC commissioned numerous works by highly acclaimed composers, collaborated with prominent conductors and soloists, recorded and released a CD titled "Pastorale Sounds" and performed concerts in Caracas Venezuela, London England, Phoenix Arizona, Columbus Ohio, and Boston Massachusetts.
