Policy
Attendance and Make-Up Policy
1. Students are expected to be on time for all the lessons, rehearsals and coachings. Any student arriving more than ten minutes late will be considered absent.
2. Students are permitted one make-up lesson. However, no make-up lessons will be given
unless a notification to Youth & Muse Music Festival is received 24 hours in advance. In cases of sudden illness/family emergency/acts of God, students/parents need to inform
Youth & Muse Music Festival at the earliest stage.
3. There will be no student absence make-ups for concerto rehearsals.
4. Due to professional obligation, private lessons and chamber music coachings will be made up for all teacher absenses.
5. Lesson/Coaching reschedule should be made between student and teacher; Youth & Muse Festival is not responsible for the reschedulng.
Withdrawal and Tuition Refund Policy
1. In the case of withdrawal from the program, 50% refund will be made to the student/parents. Students/Parents must inform Youth & Muse Music Festival with a written notice to the Yohei Sato by May 31, 2012.
2. No refund will be made after May 31, 2012.
Conduct
1. Misbehavior and destruction of Youth & Muse Music Festival property will result in immediate dismissal.
2. No food or beverages are allowed in the practice rooms, classrooms and concert hall. Snacks and water will be provided at designed place. All space should be kept clean at all times.
Security
In the cases of sudden accident/illness/injury of students during the courses, Youth & Muse Muse Festival will notify the parents/host families immediately and take proper actions at the earliest stage. Youth & Muse, The Boston Conservatory, and all of their employees, faculties and administration, however, will not have any legal responsibility in connection to any students' sudden accident/illness/injury during the festival courses.
